The Outlet
The Outlet, a Brooklyn-based Variety Show, debuts with Comedian Hope Woodard The Outlet, a collective of artists creating community via various artistic mediums, actor and comedian, Christine Fiala, will host its inaugural showcase at Ivy House Studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn, N.Y. Featuring Hope Woodard, a comedian with “half a million followers across TikTok and Instagram” who has “audiences bursting into knowing laughter” (The New York Times), the series kicks off with music, local vendors, visual art, and a diverse lineup of Brooklyn-based artists. Along with Woodward, performers include comedian Michael Oluokun ; poet Patrick Howard; Samantha Pearl, a singer-songwriter; and La Zavaleta, a drag artist who was crowned Miss Bushwick in 2021.
**Tickets to The Outlet, includes dancing, entertainment, three hours of beer & wine, and the opportunity to celebrate Brooklyn artists. This event will be three hours. During the first hour, there will be a casual showcase featuring music, visual art, and local vendors, all while guests arrive, grab a drink (or two), and take in the space. The second hour will be a variety show featuring Brooklyn-based comedians, storytellers, writers, and other performers. We’ll close out the night with a DJ set, a performance from a local drag artist, and a shit ton of fun.
