The Black Institute (TBI) and the Black Leadership Action Coalition (BLAC) are proud to announce their 15th Annual Gala Fundraiser Celebration, a milestone event honoring the remarkable legacy of Founder and Board Chair, Bertha Lewis.

This year’s gala will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM at Giando on the Water (400 Kent Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11249).

Themed “Honoring the Past & Moving Forward to the Future,” this black-tie affair will celebrate over 15 years of advancing racial justice, equity, and empowerment. Guests will enjoy an evening of reflection, recognition, and renewed commitment to building stronger communities.
