
‘Strings in the Sanctuary,’ a Memorial Day Concert at Marble Collegiate Church

Leading up to Memorial Day Weekend, Marble Collegiate Church will present, “Strings in the Sanctuary,” a string ensemble performance featuring world renown musicians, Christiana Liberis, Filip Pògady, Cong Wu and Adrian Daurov, on Tuesday, May 20, at 7:00 p.m. in the historic Sanctuary, 1 West 29th Street at Fifth Avenue.
Music selections will honor the upcoming Memorial Day holiday, featuring stirring works of beauty, loss and hope by Mozart, Shostakovich and Dvořák.
Tickets for this in-person event are $40, $35 if purchased in advance. Purchase tickets at marblechurch.org.
About the Artists
Christina Liberis is an enchanting violinist/violist with an international reach. Versatile in diverse musical genres, Christina has collaborated in concert engagements, including solo, chamber, symphonic, opera, ballet and pop.
Filip Pogády is a captivating violinist who has performed on many of the world’s most prestigious stages in productions that include opera, dance, and pop music, as well as having worked on high-profile television shows.
Cong Wu is an award-winning violist known for his solo and collaborative performances in the United States and beyond.
Adrian Daurov is one the world’s most dazzling cellists. He has performed with many philharmonics, symphonies and ensembles, and has contributed his talents to multiple radio and television shows.
