DESCRIPTION:Join us on Sunday\, March 8\, 2026\, for the Tenth Annual Sri Chinmoy 5K and 7-Mile race in Prospect Park\, featuring a scenic and USATF certified loop course along Park Drive. 9:00 AM Start for both races. \nSponsored by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in cooperation with the Prospect Park Alliance and NYC Parks Dept. \nAMENITIES: \nSri Chinmoy Races vacuum insulated drink bottle\, aid stations every mile\, bag check\, custom finisher medals\, free finisher photos\, fresh pancakes! \nTHE COURSE: \nA scenic loop course (a few hills)\, traveling counterclockwise on the pedestrian lane of the main Park Drive\, through forest and meadow. Starting at the north end of the Lincoln Rd. Lawns\, continuing through Battle pass\, past Nellie’s Lawn\, down Long Meadow\, past Lookout Hill\, alongside Prospect Park Lake\, and finishing at Harry’s Wall. 5K is just shy of one complete loop. 7-Mile race is two full loops\, the second loop includes a short out-and-back section on Center Drive. \nAWARDS: \nSeparate Men’s and Women’s awards categories\, for both 5K and 7-mile races: \nUnder 50: Top 7\n50-59: Top 3\n60-69: Top 2\n70 and over: First place \nMedals for all finishers \nAwards ceremonies:\n5K: 9:50 AM\n7-Mile: 10:30AM \nPOST-RACE PANCAKES! \nHot pancakes are even more enjoyable when they’re earned\, and we’re cooking them up fresh for everyone on race day!
