Soul Sonic Science Summit: Intergalactic Ice Cream Social

Join us for Willie Mae Rock Camp’s Soul Sonic Science Summit, a one-day music, tech, and science event for girls and gender-expansive youth.

Our theme for this year is an out-of-this-world Intergalactic Ice Cream Social!

We will dive into the science of ice cream by making our own vanilla batch, followed by a conversation facilitated by a guest speaker where we’ll imagine what ice cream might look and taste like on other planets. Students will then create the ultimate intergalactic ice cream truck theme song with synths and other electronic instruments.

This fun-filled day combines music, STEM, creativity, and community as we make friends, have fun, and imagine!
