Acclaimed Michelin-starred Greenpoint dining destination Restaurant Yuu—recently ranked #12 out of 610 on the OAD North American Dining Guide—will undergo a temporary transformation as Executive Chef-Owner Yuu Shimano travels to Japan. From July 8–12, the restaurant will operate under the moniker Restaurant Shuji, a special pop-up helmed by Executive Sous Chef Shuji Furukawa.

During this week-long event, Chef Shuji will create a refined, 8-course tasting menu that reflects his distinct culinary voice and appreciation for seasonality. Crafted around the freshest summer ingredients, the menu offers an opportunity to experience the finesse and creativity of one of New York’s most promising rising chefs.

The tasting menu will be offered at $185 per guest, with limited seatings available each evening.
