Regina Opera presents a “Rigoletto” with orchestra
On November 11, 12, 18, and 19 at 3PM; and Saturday Nov. 18 at 7PM, Regina Opera will present fully-staged performances of Verdi’s “Rigoletto”.
The drama revolves around a hunchbacked in the court of the Duke of Mantua, a morally corrupt ruler known for his womanizing ways. Rigoletto’s life becomes complicated when his latest wisecrack starts a vendetta that is far from amusing, leaving him cursed.
The production features a stellar cast including baritones Brian Montgomery (pictured), Peter Hakjoon Kim, and Joseph Gansert sharing the tile role. This tuneful production will be presented in English, with full orchestra and English supertitles
