‘Rat Academy’ Comes to Brooklyn Public Library

Want to learn safe and effective methods for rat prevention in your home, businesses, and neighborhoods?
Join Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso for a workshop with the NYC Department of Health’s ‘Rat Academy’ on Thursday, March 23, from 6 – 8pm!
The Rat Academy is a training course in rat management and part of NYC Department of Health’s effort to protect New York City from the dangers of an overpopulation of rats, including food contamination, the spread of disease, and a reduction in our quality of life.
There will be a Q&A session following the presentation, and attendees will also have access to local nonprofits that will be tabling and providing additional resources at the event. This presentation is the second installment in a community information resource series organized by Borough President Reynoso’s Department of Constituent Services.
