Process + Express: A Summer Workshop

Process + Express: an evening of movement, prompted writing, & activation of all five senses to foster connection with mother Earth & cool down in the heat of summer.

On Thursday, August 3 from 6:30-8:30pm we invite you to join HOLDTIGHT for Process + Express at Carroll Hall, an urban garden oasis in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

The evening will begin with a writing prompt & gentle movement in the center of the garden, to tune into your body and begin to notice your surroundings. Then slowly and consciously, we will traverse the space, moving through the garden for a forest-bathing experience where we will connect our senses with the lush surroundings. We will gather back in a circle in the center of the garden & tantalize our senses of smell & taste by having a tea ceremony & reflecting on the experience of feeling nature in our bodies.
