PMS: Philosophical Musing Sessions
PMS: Philosophical Musing Sessions is a new monthly talk series, devoted to the parts of us that don’t behave: the feral, the messy, the “too much.”
Curated and hosted by Ilana Gilovich this series dares to trust the wild feminine as intelligent and worthy of a voice, by— you guessed it—convening during Ilana’s luteal phase each month. Buckle up, kids.
In this raw state, Ilana invites guests into unscripted conversations about life’s biggest questions — namely, what are we doing here and how do we stay close to what is most luminous, exalted, and alive in us?
This month’s guest is Baya Voce
Baya Voce is redefining how we think about relationships shifting the focus from falling in love to learning what it takes to stay there. With an MSW from Columbia University, advanced training in Relational Life Therapy under Terry Real, and ongoing mentorship with Esther Perel, she blends therapeutic depth with the practicality of coaching.
Her work bridges science and intimacy, collaborating with Rick Doblin, MAPS, and Columbia University on research into MDMA-assisted couples therapy. Baya’s TEDx talk on loneliness, viewed over 5 million times, explores the hidden cost of disconnection in relationships.
Based in Austin, she works with couples ready to do the real work of love repairing trust, rekindling connection, and building relationships that last.
Each session also features a new plant co-host… because we’re trusting the wisdom of plants, too.
PMS arose as a gentle rebellion against the algorithmic onslaught and the impetuous pace of technological development. What happens when we slow down, gather, and ask ourselves what matters most?
There’s only one way to find out. Come as you are… bleeding heart and all.
