Pizza and Glass Painting with Ibou Ndoye

Emily Brooklyn hosts a kid-friendly, interactive traditional African glass painting workshop with Senegalese artist Ibou Ndoye, followed by a pizza brunch feast. Not only is Ibou a renowned mixed media artist who has shown his work frequently in NYC and abroad, he is also Emily Brooklyn’s very first employee who continues to work with them to this day – for more than 10 years now! At the kid-friendly (ages 5 and up) class, students will be encouraged to use their own inspiration to create a painting in a traditional African style. All materials will be supplied, including a frame to hang up one’s finished artwork. (Guests are welcome to bring their own supplies as well.)
