6/15 Green, a community garden in the South Slope (at the intersection of 6th Avenue and 15th Street in Brooklyn) is hosting the annual Open Gardens Weekend on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2, 2024.  Join us as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary this year! All events are free and open to the public.

On Saturday June 1, ShawTime Duo starts out the weekend with live music at 11:00 . Andy & Jarvis (9) Shaw are a father and son ukulele duo from Brooklyn, NY. Check them out at https://linktr.ee/andyshawzy. Stick around for a 12:00 workshop, “Your Creative Power” with Life Coach Stani Dimitrova (https://www.facebook.com/Stani.D.Coach/). At 1:00, there will be a plant swap.

On Sunday, June 2, author Aya Ganameh will present a Storytime featuring her book, These Olive Trees. At noon, there will be face painting with Millameloart, and finally, a Cake Contest at 1:00.
