The Brazilian theater company Group Dot BR and House of Yes present Opa! Tropicália – a Brazilian dance party inspired by the Tropicália movement.

Embody your Tropicalista spirit and join us for an unforgettable 8-hour Brazilian dance party featuring an incredible lineup of DJs including Greg Caz, Gaspar Muniz, Tietta, and Tahira all the way from Brazil. Let your body move with the delicious groove by Mambembé accompanied by Marcos Costa and Carol Rio, enjoy the mesmerizing live music performance by Bruno Capinan,  Rezmorah‘s hot and spicy musical act and the Brazilian Drag Goddess Pietra Parker hosting and dazzling us with captivating performances throughout the event. 

Be ready to immerse your senses with authentic Brazilian food, interactive performances by Group Dot BR and visual arts exhibition presented by Angelica Walker Projects and Group Dot BR! Minors accompanied by legal guardians are welcome from 3 pm to 6 pm.

*Also known as Tropicalismo, the Tropicália was a groundbreaking Brazilian artistic movement fusing Brazilian and African rhythms with elements of British and American psychedelia and pop rock. It bridged the gap between the popular and the avant-garde while embracing both Brazilian traditions and foreign influences. Tropicália extended beyond music and encompassed captivating works in film, theater, and poetry.*
