NYC Beer Week kicks off this year on Saturday, February 24, with the highly anticipated, biggest, and best celebration of craft beer in the New York City area – OPENING BASH. It all happens at the Box Factory in Brooklyn’s Industry City (51 34th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232) with two ticket levels available – VIP offers early access at 12:30 PM; General Admission doors at 1:30 PM. Reduced price tickets are available for Designated Drivers to also join the party, which goes until 5:30 PM. Tickets and additional information about NYC Beer Week and Opening Bash – including a full list of participating breweries and beers being poured, as well as a calendar of events – are available at www.nycbrewed.com and https://www.instagram.com/nycbrewers/.

Presented by the New York City Brewers Guild, Opening Bash is the biggest beer fest in the NYC area, held annually each February as the official launch party for NYC Beer Week. With 40+ member breweries across all five boroughs, NYC has become one of the country’s most significant craft beer destinations. Joining them at Opening Bash will be 30+ fan-favorite guest breweries. Attendees can sample exclusive beers and meet brewers, owners, and staff from some of the best breweries in the U.S. – a third of which are BIPOC- owned or run. Local independent food vendors will be on-site with bites available for purchase.

The mission of the New York City Brewers Guild is to advocate for and promote awareness of its local brewing members; to increase the visibility of local beers through marketing, events, and consumer education; and to foster a healthy, ethical, and growth-focused craft beer industry throughout the city. A 501[c]6 nonprofit business association, the NYCBG was founded to advance New York City’s brewing industry. We believe in the inclusion of all people, regardless of race, gender, sex, sexuality, economic class, nation of origin, age, faith, ability, or identity. In our Guild meetings, collaborations, and sponsored events, we believe that the Guild has a responsibility to create an environment that welcomes all people, including Guild members, participating industry staff, event guests, volunteers, and non-industry staff. Fostering such an environment is paramount to executing the Guild’s mission of creating a community. For more information, please visit www.nycbrewed.com.
