MoDRAG (The Museum of Drag) is launching its inaugural exhibition in Brooklyn, New York!
Come celebrate the past, present, and future of drag this pride month at MoDRAG!
Featuring multimedia exhibitions from around the world | Photography | Drag artifacts | Gagworthy gift shop | Weekly lecture + performance series by drag artists & herstorians
Event Dates (6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, weekly):
Saturday, June 10: Lecture/performance by drag artist/activist Emi Grate + opening reception!
Tuesday, June 13: Event details to be announced!
Saturday, June 24: MAE WEST IN DRAG: Lecture/performance by drag artists and theatermakers Nancy Nogood & Dmitri Barcomi.
Friday, June 30: History of Drag Bans + William Dorsey Swann, Mother of Drag: Lecture/performance by drag historians DeVante Lewis & Gina Tonic and closing party
Museum Hours:
Thursday and Friday: 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday: 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Additional hours available by appointment.
Entrance to the museum and its events are suggested donation; no one will be turned away for lack of funds.
