Miro Magloire’s New Chamber Ballet

Choreographer Miro Magloire presents his company his elegant ballet “Secret Place,” a casual gathering of five people dancing (on pointe).   Magloire, a Munich native who began his career as a composer, can always be counted on to make daring music choices.  “Secret Place” is set to music by contemporary composer Reiko Fueting, violin solos by 17th century composer Johann-Paul von Westhoff, and J.S. Bach’s Chaconne.  Music is always played live at New Chamber Ballet concerts; this time by pianist Seth Schultheis and violinist Doori Na.  Two Friday performances, April 12 & April 19 at 7:30 PM at the mark Morris Dance Center.
