Meet The Tree Day 2025

This year’s Meet The Tree Day invites families and friends to welcome the 2025 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree as it arrives on the Plaza, marking the start of the holiday season. Programming will take place on South Plaza, with additional happenings Under 30 Rock and at Top of the Rock, featuring a full morning of festive fun for all ages.

Holiday Workshop ft. FAO & Peanuts® (10 AM – 1 PM): Join us for the Holiday Workshop, featuring themed activity stations including Peanuts coloring, scratch-off crafts, and a Build-A-Bear “heart ceremony” with Snoopy bears (available for purchase). Meet Snoopy, write letters to Santa, and bring home creative holiday keepsakes. Families with Top of the Rock tickets will receive priority access to the workshop as an added perk.

Art Sundae with Cynthia Talmadge (10 AM – 1 PM): On South Plaza, kids can participate in an Art Sundae workshop creating “Walk of Fame” stars from colored sand, inspired by Talmadge’s exclusive Rockefeller Center exhibition, Alan Smithee (pre-registration required).

Top of the Rock Holiday Celebration (12 PM – 3 PM): The celebration continues high above the city with a special visit from Snoopy (12 PM – 1 PM). Guests can also stop by the Cozy Corner to enjoy a holiday book reading of Razzle Dazzle the Green-Nosed Reindeer, a cheerful sing-along with Broadway talent, seasonal crafts, and more. Tickets required.

Santa at 5 Acres (10 AM – 2 PM): Stop by Under 30 Rock to meet Santa and share in the holiday cheer. Those who pre-registered for Meet The Tree Day can also pick up a complimentary Chip City cookie giveaway at 5 Acres, while supplies last.

This free, family-friendly event brings the holiday spirit to every corner of Rockefeller Center. Advance registration is encouraged.
