If you’ve ever considered brewing this is the class for you. If you’ve ever wondered if homebrew is as good as a brewery, this is the class for you. If you just want to know more about different brewing processes, ask questions, and sample some beer – this is the class for you!

This month’s class is going to be hosted at Strong Rope Red Hook, and we’ll be making their JJ Bollerack’s Brown Ale! We’ll be there on Sunday, February 23 from 1-4pm.

We’re going to start with the basics: Rob Jenkins and Matt Land will show/teach you how to brew both a 1 gallon extract batch and a 5 gallon Brew-In-A-Bag live in person – and you’ll get to participate!

We’re going to show you how good homebrew can be: Members of the local homebrewing club Brewminaries will be on hand with samples of a 5 gallon Brew-In-A-Bag batch of the recipe (included in ticket price).

You can compare it to the professionals: Strong Rope will have their professionally brewed version of JJ Bollerack on tap so you can taste and compare! (attendees will receive $1 off all pints of JJ’s for the duration of the event).
