Launch Party at Brooklyn’s Historic Old Stone House for Award Winning Film “A/way”

Brooklyn, NY – June 26, 2025 –Park Slope’s iconic Old Stone House Historic Museum is proud to host the highly anticipated launch party of A/way, a new feature film by Unique DNA Productions. The celebration coincides with the film’s official streaming debut on Amazon, Apple TV, Fandango, and Google Play.

A/way tells the moving story of Anna, a travel journalist navigating a work assignment in Martinique while grieving the recent loss of her mother. Through a series of interviews with local islanders and a rediscovered journal belonging to her late mother, Anna embarks on a soulful journey of healing, reconnection, and rediscovery.

Despite being made on a modest grassroots budget of just $10,000, A/way has made an impressive mark on the indie film circuit—screening at eight international film festivals and garnering several awards. The film will also make its UK premiere later this month at the prestigious Romford Film Festival.

The Old Stone House, a treasured Brooklyn landmark, is proud to celebrate this homegrown cinematic success. The launch party will include appearances by the cast and crew, as well as local and visiting industry professionals who supported the film’s development.
