Hands On History: Construction at the Manor!

Are you interested in construction work? March is Women’s History Month! Several women worked at King Manor in the 19th century. Their jobs did not just include cooking and cleaning as was often the case with female workers in this time period, but also taking apart furniture, cleaning it, then reassembling it. To celebrate their craftsmanship and inspire young people of all genders to enter construction vocations, ArchForKids and Tools & Tiaras will be collaborating with the museum in a construction-style activity!
