JAN 22: ROE V WADE ANNIVERSARY SPEAKOUT + COUNTER-PROTEST

Join local activists on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade to protest the anti-abortion injustices spearheaded by the Catholic church and its collusion with the NYPD in attacking clinic defenders. The speak-out will begin at 12:00PM, Sunday, January 22nd at the 17th Police Precinct, 167 E 51st St in Manhattan. Speakers will connect the issues of police abuse and the Catholic Church’s attacks on reproductive rights. The speak-out will be followed by a march to St. Patrick’s Cathedral on 5th Ave between E 51st and E 50th St to counter-protest their Vigil for Life.
