Informational Session for Ukrainian Refugees at the Sheepshead Bay Library

Sheepshead Bay Library partners with Commonpoint Queens to host an information session about resources available to Ukrainian Humanitarian Parolees (UHPs). Their services are aimed at successfully resettling UHPs through a comprehensive program in New York City and the surrounding areas. Their services connect clients to resources and programs, including:

• Employment Services
• Basic Needs Support
• English Language Courses
• Medical Examinations
• School Enrollment
• Child Care Support
• Vocational Training
• Public Benefits Enrollment (SNAP, Medicaid, WIC, SSI, Cash Assistance)
• Monthly Newsletters and different events for active clients
