Celebrating its 10th anniversary, 88rising, founded in New York in 2015, has become one of independent music’s biggest success stories. Against all odds, they rose from humble beginnings to be the preeminent global record label and media company focused on Asian culture. 88rising has grown their festival mainstay Head In The Clouds Music & Arts Festival since 2018, having brought one of the largest Asian-centric music festivals in the world to Indonesia, the Philippines and China alongside its years in Los Angeles and New York. They broke down barriers as the first label to have an Asian artist top Billboard’s Hip-Hop/R&B chart, the first label to launch an all-Asian radio channel in North America, and the first and only label to have their own slot on Coachella’s legendary main stage. 88rising has also made forays into film, executive producing and curating the soundtrack to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Marvel Studios’ first Asian-American superhero. And later continuing its big screen endeavors with Jamojaya, which premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, starring multi-hyphenate Rich Brian and was executive produced by 88rising founder and CEO Sean Miyashiro. The label is home to leading artists Joji, Jackson Wang, NIKI, Rich Brian and more.
GA tickets start at $99. VIP tickets start at $149, offering dedicated entry lanes into the venue, a premium up-close VIP viewing area of the main stage, and access to the VIP-only 88 lounge area with dedicated bars, merch stand and picnic seating. No added fees at checkout. Prices include all service fees & taxes.
