Haïtian Flag Day Ride & Fête

Thrive Haïti Inc., a Brooklyn, NY based nonprofit organization dedicated to using cycling as a means to improve the lives of the youth in Haïti, is holding its 4th annual Ride & Fête event to celebrate Haitian Flag Day. This event started during the pandemic in 2021 as a spontaneous to gather with friends and family, go outside, build a community and commemorate the rich culture and heritage of Haïti. It has become an annual event where people from various backgrounds and ethnicities come to celebrate Haïtian Heritage Month.  The event start with a meet and greet at the Brooklyn Public Library Central Branch at 2pm, followed by a leisurely bike ride around Brooklyn neighborhoods with a large Haitian community, and end with a party in Little Haiti at Drip BK cafe and lounge.
