“Since the beginning of 2022, I have been working on my 2nd annual, “From LA With Love” event which takes place in NYC. This event consists of LA culture being brought to NY by providing a lowrider car show (last year I registered 37 east coast lowriders) with west coast hip hop & funk, but it is also an infusion of classic New York elements such as graffiti & hip hop cyphers. The main purpose of this event is to create unity & celebrate iconic features from both coasts. This year, I faced many challenging obstacles to create the 2nd annual event. I am very proud of myself for fighting through & making it happen for I am now in the process of providing something historical: New York’s first indoor lowrider show. The event will feature live graffiti painting along with hip hop performances from both LA & NY artists; food & merch vendors as well. “ – Wendy Random (Instagram @wendyrandom )
