End of The Weak Announces 2023 World Finals in NYC: A Global Showcase of Hip Hop Excellence

NEW YORK CITY, NY — The legendary End of The Weak (EoDUB) is set to take the stage once again, presenting the highly anticipated 2023 END OF THE WEAK WORLD FINALS

Hip-hop enthusiasts will witness the MC Challenge, an olympic-style hip-hop competition, as the global End of The Weak movement converges in the place where it all began – New York City.

Established in 2000 in NYC’s Lower East Side, EoDUB has since grown internationally, with chapters in over 20 countries spanning across five continents. As noted by Express.co.uk, “End of the Weak serves as a rite of passage for anyone aspiring to be recognized as a true emcee.” 

EoDUB has been a staple of the global hip-hop scene more than two decades, helping to hone the skills of elite lyricists around the world, including Justina Valentine, K. T. Gorique, Immortal Technique, Gorilla Nems, Kate Tempest, Lowkey, Estelle, and 2-time World Champion Osyris Antham, all of whom have sharpened their skills through the End of the Weak MC Challenge. As Complex Magazine explains, “For all the stars that the MC Challenge and EOW have made, there’s a loyalty that’s reciprocated.”

Now, for the first time in over a decade, the END OF THE WEAK WORLD FINALS will return to New York City, the epicenter of hip-hop culture. 

On November 4th, 2023, the stage will be set at Roulette Intermedium in Brooklyn, NY to display the lyrical finesse of National Champions from six countries across the globe are converging to represent their nations in the ultimate showdown. Only one MC will emerge victorious, making hip-hop history as the 2023 End of the Weak World Champion.

The 2023 WORLD FINALS promises to be a celebration of the artistry, culture, and unity that hip-hop embodies and a testament to the enduring legacy of End of The Weak.

All event proceeds will be donated to Verses Foundation Inc. (VFI), the 501(c)(3) started in honor of the late End of the Weak Founder, Vice Verses. VFI provides mentorship, support and resources to aspiring artists to accelerate their artistic growth.
