Join The Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life for Electric Mimouna–an evening of glam, beats, and bites featuring the music of Chanan Ben Simon and Guy Barash. From Marrakech to Jerusalem to Brooklyn, this celebration reclaims old musical treasures with a contemporary electronic twist, featuring costumes, glam, and joy! Live from The Moxy Hotel’s Jolene Sound Room, Chanan Ben Simon (voice) and Guy Barash (electronics) will debut a new project of traditional Jewish-Morrocan songs with an electronic twist. Join us for this musical and culinary program, which will have you celebrating Mimouna (the Moroccan celebration of the end of Passover) in style with The Neighborhood: An Urban Center for Jewish Life, Sephardi Mizrahi Q Network, and The Moxy Hotel.
