Caribbean Film Networking & Arts Night

The production team behind the upcoming feature film Farrin is proud to present the Caribbean Film Networking & Arts Night—a celebration of film, art, and community, dedicated to amplifying Queer Caribbean voices.

The event will take place on April 30, 2025, at HAAM Restaurant (234 Union Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211), starting at 8:30 PM.

This intimate evening of storytelling, art, and connection aims to foster creative collaboration while pushing Farrin—an independent film exploring the legacy of migration through a deeply personal queer coming-of-age tale—to its next stage of development.

Caribbean narratives—especially those centered on LGBTQ+ experiences—remain underrepresented in film and media. This event is not only a celebration but also an urgent call to support authentic storytelling that challenges norms and expands representation. With an audience of filmmakers, artists, and members of the Caribbean and queer communities, this night is set to be an inspiring and impactful gathering.

Meet the Team Behind the Event

Danielle Fuller (Event Producer) – A filmmaker based between Kingston, Jamaica, and New York, Danielle is an NYU Tisch graduate and Fulbright Research-Arts Grant recipient dedicated to bridging gaps in Black & West Indian storytelling.

Denyvi Rose (Event Producer) – A Filipino-American filmmaker and NYU graduate with extensive festival experience, Denyvi works closely with an Academy Award®-nominated director while continuing to produce thought-provoking independent films.

Matthew Noel (Event Producer) – Founder of Sol Media, a Brooklyn-based video production and digital marketing company committed to elevating creative storytelling.
