Cosmic Embrace features the work of visual artist Bruno Saquicela. Saquicela was born and raised in Queens, New York from an Ecuadorian and Russian-Irish background. He predominately creates abstract paintings and incorporates 3D elements from found objects and natural materials.

Reminiscent of a childhood ceiling with glow-in-the-dark stars and planets, Saquicela’s incorporation of blacklight painting illuminates even the darkest corners. Underneath, alongside, and above the layers of colors, objects, and mark-making, this exhibition offers a unique insight into his acknowledgment of past experiences and re-defining core memories to cultivate a new safe space.
