BILLIE & BEYOND Kicks 0ff New Season with R&B Singer Felicia Temple

Exploring The Billie’s musical roots and in homage to its namesake – the legendary Billie Holiday –  BILLIE & BEYOND, a music series, showcases female vocalists and instrumentalists across genres and continues to elevate emerging and established women in music. The first performance under the series for the Season will feature R&B singer/songwriter Felicia Temple. Known for her raw, melodic storytelling and timeless voice, Temple was a contestant on NBC’s The Voice and went on to build a career to include five solo EPs under her belt. She has also performed alongside some of music’s biggest names such as Deborah Cox, The Roots, and John Legend. Soul singer Siaira Shawn will serve as the opener for the show.

This kick-off to this new season of BILLIE & BEYOND will be hosted by media personality, culture critic and Okayplayer podcast host Dawn Montgomery. This curated experience will include light bites, cocktails, and a rousing set by DJ NYLA.
