Art Workshop Wednesday For Kids

Kids ages 4-12 are invited to 53rd St Library to do art from 3:30-4:30 PM each Wednesday. We’ll work with different materials to create new art each week!

No registration is needed for this workshop. Please just show up to our children’s floor on the Lower Level by 3:40 PM and join in. Enough materials will be provided for at least 10 children each week. We will provide books to tie in with our craft themes. Younger children may participate in modified versions of the craft if it is possible.

May 21- Batik!

Join us to paint over dried-glue batik pictures on cloth to create unique colored designs! 

May 28- Keith Haring Art!

Study the work of Keith Haring and learn to draw dogs and human figures like he did– then fill a page with bright, bold art!
