Art, Culture & History Walks: Hosted by the Friends of Jackie Robinson Park Playground and led by Shanna Sabio of Growhouse NYC

Get to know all that make up our beloved section of Bedford-Stuyvesant: historical landmark sites, indigenous wild plants, cultivated public gardens, new and longtime businesses, and of course our local parks and playgrounds; with an interactive walking tour led by Shanna Sabio of Growhouse NYC.
Learn about local indigenous plants and their uses, take an interactive tour of local rain gardens with a demonstration by the Department of Environmental Protection, try an art-making activity with local artist Kay Carter at Bailey’s Cafe, and enjoy a closing reception at 197 Patchen.
