Arlo Williamsburg’s Living Room Gallery Opening Reception featuring Halim Flowers

Arlo Hotels is excited to share That its Living Room Gallery series is presenting its newest installation at Arlo Williamsburg, “Art is the Nexxus” featuring works by Halim Flowers!

Join Arlo Williamsburg for an evening of fine art, drinks, and discussions with the artist himself on Wednesday, July 17th from 6-8 p.m. in the Lobby Bar.  

These works, carefully selected by Arlo Hotels curator Jasmine Arakel and in partnership with DTR Modern gallery, aim to bring contemporary art into publicly accessible spaces, and have been carefully selected to complement each hotel’s aesthetics, culture, and identity.

The evening will feature specialty cocktail and dinner offerings from Arlo Williamsburg, DJ’d music and a special artist talk by Halim Flowers himself along with international art dealer and writer, Avalon Ashley Bellos about the artworks and inspiration behind each piece showcased. There will also be an opportunity to purchase a painting.

Located in North Brooklyn, with Manhattan just over the bridge, the new Arlo Williamsburg, formerly known as The Williamsburg Hotel, stands at the nexus of history and history in the making, offering attendees the choice to dine at the property’s namesake restaurant or indulge in cocktails at the Lobby Bar.
