The Brooklyn Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Club, Inc., (NANBPWC, Inc.), is having its 56th Annual Founders Day Observance honoring women and men of our community who have demonstrated outstanding service and commitment to our communities. The luncheon is on Sunday, May 19, 2024, Gargiulo’s Italian Restaurant, 2911 West 15th Street, Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.  Among the honorees are Brooklyn’s Dr. Jocelynne Rainey, President and CEO,  Brooklyn Org – recipient of the prestigious Sojourner Truth Award which is the highest award given by the NANBPWC, Inc., and Mr. Barrington Seaton, President of  African American Benevolent Society, NYC Department of Sanitation – is honored with the Man of Distinction Award which is given to a man who has distinguished himself in his profession.
